In-Person Fall 2025 Mini Conference on Acoustics & Best Student Paper Competition

The Washington DC Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) will hold its Mini Conference on Acoustics (MCA) / Best Student Paper Competition (with a cash award) on Tuesday November 18th, 2025 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm at Room B16 in Pangborn Hall at the Catholic University of America (CUA).
If you are presenting at the national ASA conference, another conference, or have interesting acoustics research work to discuss, we invite you to give your presentation at the ASA DC Chapter’s MCA. Take this chance to practice your talk and get useful feedback from local acousticians or present your research if you are not going to the next national ASA conference. Speakers will have 20 minutes to present their work (15 min. for presentation + 5 min. for questions). In the event that we receive more abstracts than time allotted for the MCA, priorities will be given to student presenters. To qualify as a student presenter the student must be in an accredited University program or have graduated within a year, and present their research.
