Spring Virtual 2023 Mini Conference on Acoustics & Best Student Paper Competition

Tuesday, April 25, 2023, 6:30-9:00 PM

Virtual on Zoom

The Washington DC Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) will hold its Mini Conference on Acoustics (MCA) / Best Student Paper Competition (with a cash award) on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, from 6:30 – 9:00 pm on Zoom.

If you are presenting at the national ASA conference, another conference, or have interesting acoustics research work to discuss, we invite you to give your presentation at the ASA DC Chapter’s MCA.  Take this chance to practice your talk and get useful feedback from local acousticians!  Take this opportunity to present your research or project work if you are not going to the next national ASA conference.  Speakers will have 20 minutes to present their work (15 min. for presentation + 5 min. for questions).  In the event that we receive more abstracts than time allotted for the MCA, priorities will be given to student presenters.  To qualify as a student presenter the student must be in an accredited University program or have graduated within a year, and present his/her research.

To register to present please send your presentation title and abstract by Tuesday, April 18th to
